We have said that we have great dive sites and this past week we have had great sightings too!!!

Having this large shoal of Blue-barred parrotfish (Scarus ghobban) pop in on our dive was such a stunning sighting.  It brought such a smile to our faces.

It is not often that we get to see so many together like this, they are usually sighted individually or in smaller numbers.

To see such a dense, synchronized school moving together like this is a spectacular indicator of healthy, nutrient-rich marine zones.

They play such a vital role in and on our reef systems that those that hunt them should honestly, honestly not even have to think at all about removing them for personal gain in the kitchen!!!!!!!!!!
