Our accommodation choice is Port St. Johns River Lodge, which is regarded by many travellers as a “home away from home”. Port St. Johns River Lodge has a full bar and restaurant on site and is situated alongside the picturesque mighty Umzimvubu River with spectacular views of Mt. Sullivan & Mt. Thesiger. The lodge is situated across the river from our operating base, which makes it easy to collect and drop off daily.
Clean and comfortable triple, double, twin and single rooms are available, as well as the option of certain rooms that will suit smaller or larger groups to share.
Our packages include ALL meals.
What is also vitally important to you is that there is a drying room for your wetsuit, which makes those cold mornings so much more comfortable.

We are also happy to quote on backpacker and self-catering options. If you wish to organise your own accommodation, please feel free, however, please ask us for suggestions / recommendations and we will be more than happy to advise you. Please note that accommodation fills up rapidly during the Sardine Run period , it is a small town and a short but intense season and accommodation choice will be severely limited for late bookings. If you are selecting your own accommodation and require a more budget orientated option, kindly contact us for further suggestions and recommendations as there are various backpacker establishments in town. We are more than willing to help.
