We offer a 2.5 hour ocean experience trip year round, outside of Sardine Run time for anyone wishing to see the beautiful coastline from a boat.
Enjoy the thrill of a typical African surf launch and spend time out on the ocean viewing whatever Mother Nature has to offer at the time.
An ocean experience is a MUST DO thing, as it allows one to view scenery and places of interest that cannot be seen on foot.
Join us with the possibility of sighting our resident pod of Bottlenose dolphins, or the Humpback Whales if you are with us during June – November months.
There is also the possibility of spending time with our Oceanic birds etc.
After we have looked for whatever marine life is further out to sea, we typically head south and inshore towards Umgazana area where we stop and point out the places of interest, after which we head northwards towards Sugarloaf rock and then we continue up the coastline towards third beach, Silaka Nature Reserve, Second beach, the Gap & Blowhole and the Cape Hermes lighthouse.
We supply light refreshments for this trip which ends at First Beach where we head in through the surf and into the mighty Umzimvubu River mouth zone and into the river.
