Photographic Trip – Waterfall Bluff

R850.00

The Wild Coast boasts some beautiful, dramatic and rugged scenery and a trip from Port St John’s up north to Waterfall Bluff is one such trip.

This is a half day trip, departing quite early in the morning to beat the wind, passing some beautiful points of interest along the way, with a final stop at the majestic Waterfall Bluff, known to the locals as Mlambomkulu.

Points of interest along the way include the area of Poenskop, Ntafufu, Manteku, Shark Point and Mbotyi. If conditions permit, we may even stop and take a look at a shallow wreck named the Mielieskerk.

Waterfall Bluff is one of our most famous waterfalls in this region and falls directly into the ocean. The topography in this area is nothing short of breath taking with all the rugged outcrops and changing topography.

Another photographers dream stop before reaching Waterfall Bluff is that of Cathedral rock and false cathedral. When the sunlight is at the right angle, Cathedral Rock takes on a mystical, misty look, which when captured on camera, is why people return to this area time and again. There are just no words to describe the beauty of this area.

We may even be fortunate enough to see our resident pod of Bottlenose dolphins up as far as this area.

We offer light snacks and refreshments on this trip.
